CEO
Wes is the Founder and CEO of CodexIT. Over the last 20 years, Wes has led the design, execution and expansion of CodexIT, a United States based Healthcare Technology company that specializes in complete Managed Technology Services for multi-office and PE-backed platforms in Healthcare. Codex has a been a fully remote, multi-state operation since 2012. The long average tenure of the team and the full-time only model ensure the highest quality service delivery.
Year over year, under Wes’s leadership, CodexIT has achieved an attainment above expectations for volume and market growth leading to opportunities to hire more employees and acquire other businesses to add to the CodexIT family.
Wes consistently sets up and leads complex negotiations with viable business partnerships in order to continue growing and developing innovative ideas to help Codex’s Healthcare clients with the complicated technology and compliance landscape in the Healthcare field.
Amber Harvell
VP of Operations
Amber brings a strong technical background and over 25 years of IT experience, driving operational success across diverse environments. For nearly two decades, she has specialized in the Healthcare sector, leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and elevate client outcomes. Amber is known for building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams and aligning technology with business objectives to deliver meaningful results. Her favorite part of the job is building lasting relationships that foster trust and collaboration.
Chris Dean
VP of Professional Services
Chris has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a deep focus on clinical operations and outcomes. Prior to joining Codex, she served as an independent consultant, partnering directly with healthcare organizations to drive operational improvements and compliance initiatives. Today, she leads cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering operational efficiency, regulatory readiness, and exceptional client service. Chris builds strong, strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, guiding them through the complexities of clinical workflows, information security, HIPAA compliance, and MIPS reporting. With a strong emphasis on security and compliance, she ensures practices not only meet regulatory requirements but establish scalable, secure foundations for future success.
Aaron Smith
Senior Director of Finance
Aaron Smith serves as the Senior Director of Finance at CodexIT, where he oversees financial strategy, operations, and performance across the organization. With over two decades of experience in the technology and finance sectors, Aaron brings a unique blend of financial leadership and technical expertise.
A graduate of Texas State University with a BBA in Business Management, Aaron began his career in software sales, focusing on accounting and ERP solutions. He later transitioned into financial management, holding leadership roles at Unicom Technologies and General Informatics, where he served as Corporate Controller following Unicom’s acquisition. Prior to joining CodexIT, Aaron led payroll operations as Director of Payroll Services at Centex Business Solutions.
Cassidy Sustak
Director of IT Support Services
Cassidy brings nearly a decade of experience in the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry, where she excels at leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Passionate about continuous learning, she actively explores new tools and solutions to develop streamlined workflows that enhance both service delivery and client satisfaction. As the leader of our helpdesk operations, Cassidy is most fulfilled by empowering her team to perform at their best while cultivating strong, lasting client relationships. Her role is a balance of staying ahead of technology trends and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment for her team.

Rawle is the data magician who turns chaotic databases into harmonious symphonies. As the Senior Directory of Migration Services at CodexIT, Rawle doesn’t just migrate data; he gives it a first-class ticket to its new home, ensuring every datapoint arrives safely, securely and stylishly. With a knack for transforming data nightmares into dream migrations, he’s the unsung hero behind seamless transitions. When he’s not orchestrating data movements, Rawle enjoys decoding the mysteries of metadata and making puns that only a true data enthusiast would appreciate.
